Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at full speed I noticed a significant reduction in power. It was as if the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. This morning i pull out the spark plugs, 3 were drenched in gazoline, the fourth was dry. When I start the engine, there are no sparks i put tissue on the top of each of the injector holes and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline pop out, but the 4th one stays closed. I checked the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55/30/55/48/55/14/55/48/ I got 0ohm. I assume that the problem is in another location.
I also tried to reset the PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is not plugged in and runs fine when it is plugged in but it still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows temperatures of -49c. Also i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 when I crank up the engine.
I'm not sure what to do, i think i've pretty much ruled out everything else. However, i'm afraid that I may have missed something. If anyone has suggestions, please chime in! TIA!
