If you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller that doubles as car seat carriers, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels sturdy when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the most stroller that is light, ideal for urban dwellers as well for jet-setters. The Xplore also comes with two canopies that move from the front to the back, offering ample sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as deep or wide as other wagons, which means it might not be comfortable for longer excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels sturdy and solid however it doesn't have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competitors, and it does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store in a trunk for your car. It also features a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as cup holders for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels and two large hanging storage bags.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

It took us just under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. None of the parts required tools. However, it's missing some essential features that we think it is important to consider as non-negotiable features for a double stroller for example, a larger basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair and is marketed as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth to around 3.5-years-old. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

It's a breeze to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child out and in quickly. Despite being a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position, or they can pivot. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them move and it performed well, though it did appear a little bumpier than others in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most famous for its 3-wheeled all-terrain, jogging strollers. However, they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to fold and fits in the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we've test, but since it has rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver across various terrains and even with two children, a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space but it has a large basket deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to take a stroller with you on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of many parents when it first debuted. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's first years and beyond. It comes with a variety of stand-out features including the possibility of flipping the seat between parent and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.
