If you're on a budget and don't need a stroller that can double up as car seat carriers the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size that means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to move into a car trunk or closet. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels and two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us just under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. It's missing some features that we consider essential in a double stroller. They include a large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It folds easily and can fit in the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers that we tried, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's easy to move, even when loaded with two kids and shopping bags.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. It can also be linked with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies as big as 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you require a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

It's compatible with two infant car seats and can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned so that they face each one. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This can help to lessen sibling fights about who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a large gear tray, bottle holder as well as snack trays and the ability to change mats.
