This seat also has great safety features.

In our infant Car Seats tests, the Cybex Aton scores above average in both rear-facing and forward-facing installation and user-friendliness. Its headrest adjusts to 11 different height positions and features a no-rethread harness that makes it easy to keep the straps properly adjusted as your child gets. Cybex seats also have a load leg on the base to limit the chance of a crash to rotate and an anti-rebound feature to keep your child in the center of the seat.

The Aton is iSize-approved from birth and can also be used with Cybex Base M for an additional level of security. It also comes with an innovative side impact protection that is linear that absorbs and redirects the forces of collision away from your baby. The Aton's small shell may not be suited to compact cars in the same way as other models. The canopy isn't as large, and it's missing an open window.

A second problem is the cost. This is a very expensive seat particularly when you consider the fact that it performed better over the rest of our tests. Fortunately, there are several other excellent choices on the market with lower costs.
