3 Wheel All Terrain Pushchair

A pushchair that is all-terrain with outstanding maneuverability will work whether you're looking for a buggy for woodland walks or taking a stroll along the high street. These models typically come with large wheels and suspension systems that provide an easy ride on bumpy terrain.

The majority are suitable for infants and come with a seat that can be placed in a flat position or a carrycot for newborns. These vehicles also have tyres that do not flatten, usually composed of foam.

Suspension

A quality all-terrain pushchair should have a good suspension that is designed to be extra smooth and comfortable on rough terrain. This will make your child feel more relaxed and at ease. The wheels should also be large and typically be puncture-proof to protect against damage caused by sharp sticks or rocks.

Some all-terrain strollers allow you to switch between additional tyres for different conditions. Certain all-terrain strollers feature a swivel wheel that can be locked to give stability, or left unlocked to allow for greater maneuverability.

To give you added security, some all-terrain pushchairs will feature a locking handbrake that is much easier to reach and use with your free hand instead of a traditional brake pedal on the handlebars' sides. This is a fantastic feature if you are a fan of steep hills.

Seat

There's a variety of 3 wheel stroller with bassinet-wheel all-terrain pushchairs to pick from, offering a superb off-road capability. They are perfect if you reside in the countryside or take a walk on uneven, rough terrain. They are usually more durable and sturdy than a regular pushchair, with special features like large wheels that can withstand punctures to withstand the toughest of surfaces. They are often quite wide and are difficult to maneuver through narrow spaces or in the aisles of shops.

It's also suitable for babies and has a large sun canopy that extends as well as a number of fantastic features for parents such as a brake pedal that is easy to use with an adjustable handlebar as well as a generously spacious basket.

Storage

There are excellent all-terrain pushchairs designed for parents who want to take their child off-road, but don't want to take on Ben Nevis. They offer the best of both. Choose models that have good all-terrain capabilities, sturdy suspension and large puncture proof wheels, yet is built in a classic pushchair style with reversible seating and carrycot options.

UPPAbaby’s popular Ridge all terrain pushchair is a good example. It comes with a fantastic suspension and a single-hand fold and a generous basket that can hold up to 10 kg. But it also has many features that are child-friendly, like an adjustable handlebar and an operated break that can be operated by hand on the right. A hood that can be removed and then brushed down with cool soapy water is a handy feature that will help keep mildew and mould from forming.

If you intend to take your all-terrain stroller off-road and on the road, you should consider air-filled tires rather than rubber grips. They'll provide a smoother ride over rough terrain and will make it easier to maneuver in tight spaces. If you intend to use your all-terrain pushchair for occasional jogging ensure that the front wheel can be rotated or has a quick-release facility to lock it into position for better stability.

It is important to verify that the pushchair fabrics can be machine washed to keep them in perfect condition. If not, spot cleaning with warm water and a little of soap gentle enough should be sufficient. Drying the fabric completely outdoors will also help to prevent mould and mildew from developing.
