The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've test.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only drawback is that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuum and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for mopping and dry its mop pads for you. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mops I tested. In addition the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station needs to be cleaned out as well as the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads, which are bought separately will need to be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of debris and dust left behind by the vacuuming.
