The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often go through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of the object it comes across to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best automatic floor cleaner robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills easily leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don’t want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.

The design is also superior to the other models. It features a sleek, high-end piece that appears like a toy rather than the loud and annoying robot. And the clean smart robot Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ swiftly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it on the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots aren't able to do. And all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, although not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot and isn't able to clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who need both a vacuum and a mop. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic hoovers cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update is working until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your house cleaning robot simultaneously. These bots also come with various additional features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. disappoint. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it lacks some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent choice if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies, which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few missing in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with the buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also features a large LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessary feature for most people however it can aid in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design is among the most innovative in the market however, it's costly.

Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for a vacuum robot that can do it all.

However, if you're looking to save some money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other great choices on the market which include a variety of eufy models for substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be located close to an outlet that has enough space to move.

The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it is able to be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The way that the G30 cleans is what separates it from its competitors. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable objects in its path.
