It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's quick and does a great job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in one go. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can be used to sweep up larger debris, like broken toys or books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've used. It doesn't make as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It is simple to install and performs well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a range of features.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its huge dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and a 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base has a few control buttons that let you manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot or use the dock's auto vacuum and mop-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise in finding objects.

This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it gets entangled in a hazard like a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't work until you remove it manually. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert on its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during the cleaning process. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad, except that mopping pads don't get cleaned or dried between use. This can lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a major change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing view in a market that is dominated by bulky boxes and clunky models.
