The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops are also replenished at the top of the station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is nimble it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step.
