World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

In the case of items that only see use in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example), upgrading them may render them unusable unless you have an extremely fortunate roll.

You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still wear by the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
