However, the code won't appear on its own, without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
It can be a bit difficult to test as there are several pins on the connector and each one has different functions. The most effective method to test it is by measuring the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. When the sensor is fully functional, it should read approximately 1000 ohms. Examine for signs of coolant, or oil in the connector bay if you are experiencing problems with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll i had an abrupt drop in power like the engine is running out of gas or injectors are not firing anymore. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked with gasoline and the fourth was dry. When I crank the engine with no sparks i put tissue on top of each injector hole and the 3 drenched with gazoline pop out, but the 4th stay shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got zero ohm. I'm assuming the issue is in another place.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car key cover audi key (Going in anotepad.com) will start if the G28 is disconnected and it runs perfectly when it is connected, but still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows a temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars when the actual pressure is 0.
I'm not sure what to do, i believe that i've eliminated everything else. But i'm worried that I might have missed something. Please let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!
