The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if it's required), it's a pain to take off the mount itself to wash it manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number clever features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these advanced features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track the battery's lifespan. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops to enable voice control on this model which is a pity considering the performance of this model.
